Subject: My favorite source ...
This is a really great show and GD really deliver a knock out performance. It was for Rockplast, a german TV and Radio Broadcast which was a great high profile event for many bands featured on that festival. There are a few sources out there but this one seems like it could be a Pre-FM source since there are some segments that don't feature a DJ voice over. Also, some early sources are from the video source which usually yields a nice mono mix, but this one is from the FM Broadcast. For some reason, the Europeans and Japanese mix the best FM sources I've ever heard and this source of this show is simply the best that I've heard so far! It could be a lot of factors(transfer, equipment, mixer/master person, source most likely) but who really cares, it's the GD hammering some NFA action complete with Garcia using the uni vibe effect ! Nuff Said! Some really nice grooves and great, great warm sound; almost sounds like a Betty Board at times. This is a download must ....
